Amazing what you have to do as an owner. I spent many a happy hour this year repairing the boardgames I supply with various tapes and glues. Many are the games I had in my childhood which I made available in the cottage. Things I have had for 30 years, can be destroyed in 30 days. So I've taken it upon myself to repair and reinforce them whenever I can . It's quite therapeutic, but takes ages! This year I've used every sneaky method I can to reinforce these games. I like the aged look. They are pretty sturdy now. I've tried every glue and reinforced every corner with old Easter egg boxes. And in keeping with the way games lovers do their repairs, I've removed all the Sellotape from the front of the boxes. I really love the look. I'm not naive enough to think they'll survive, but they should be a bit sturdier. They were made to be used. ( But if you use them, stick the pieces broadly back in the same box will ya?)
